No injuries after accidental boat fire Friday

MARSEILLES – No injuries were reported after a boat fire on the Illinois River on Friday. The Marseilles Fire Protection District were called to the Illinois River around 8 PM for a 21ft boat that was fully engulfed in flames. The department, along with assistance from the Seneca Fire Department and Ambulance, responded with two boats and an engine. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental.
