Dominic J. Verda, 84 of Granville, IL passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 21, 2013 in the Spring Valley Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be hald at 10:00am, Saturday May 25, 2013 in the Sacred Heart Church in Granville. Burial will be in the Sacred heart Cemetary in Granville. Visitation will be held Friday May 24, 2013 from 4-7pm in the Helmer Shields Funeral Home with a prayer serice at 4:00pm.
Survivors include: Wife: Karen Verda of Granville; Children: Richard (Angie) Chapman of Jenks, OK; Michael (Terri) McLanahan of Manvel, TX; Cheryl Chapman of Eastampton, NJ; along with 5 brothers & 5 sisters. as well as grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Funeral services are at 11:00am, Saturday May 25, 2013 in the First Congregational Church of LaMoille. Burial will follow at Union Cemetary in LaMoille with full military rites by Mendota V.F.W. Post #4079. Visitation will be 4-7pm, Friday May 24, 2013 at the Church in LaMoille.
Survivors include: Wife: Joyce of LaMoille; 1 son: Alan Jr. "Pete" (Janet) Walker of LaMoille; 2 daughters; Kathleen (Jay) Lynch of Anchorage, AK & Gwendolyn "Wendy" (Jessie) Edington of Ladd; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, & 1 sister.
