Two men have been arrested in an armed robbery in Grand Ridge. The LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office says that Friday night, about 10 oclock, police received a report of a possible armed robbery at the BP gas station in Grand Ridge. Police say that Grand Ridge Police saw a vehicle leave the area at a high rate of speed, and a chase ensued. Authorities say two occupants of the vehicle, 29 year old David A. Downey, o Ottawa, and 23 year old Christopher W. Downey, of Marseilles, were charged with Armed Robbery and are in jail awaiting a bond hearing this morning
