EARLVILLE – The Earlville Police Department were called to Earlville School before dismissal on Wednesday for a student making a threat against another student and the school. Around 2:30 PM according to Principal Jenette Fruit administration learned of the threat and brought the student to the school office. The student was questioned and searched, however, no weapon was found but the Earlville Police Department were called and the student was taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing, but authorities believe this is an isolated incident and there is no current danger to students or staff.
