STREATOR – A shared post on social media that claims to threaten violence at a location named “SHS” has been determined to be unrelated to Streator High School. According to Superintendent Matt Seaton, they were made aware of the post but after an investigation by the Streator Police Department and the FBI it was found to be not relevant to our area. Police departments nationwide have been looking into the post, and authorities believe at no time the safety of any students or staff were at risk.
