OGLESBY- High school students make up a surprising portion of the students at IVCC. Illinois Valley Community College’s audit-finance committee learned Thursday that high school students enrolled in dual credit courses account for 10% of overall enrollment. For the 2017-18 semester, 1004 students enrolled in dual credit, which accounted for over 5,976 credit hours. In addition, more than 120 students only paid a five dollar registration fee due to IVCC’s tuition waiver for free and reduced lunch-eligible students. IVCC will announce another balanced budget at its board meeting on July 12th.
