STEWARD – A train struck a Michigan man’s vehicle in Lee County Tuesday night, but nobody was injured. According to the Illinois State Police they responded to call after 11 p.m. in downtown Steward for a vehicle struck by a train. No injuries were reported as the driver, 77-year-old James F. Bossart of Clinton Township, Michigan escaped his vehicle after it had become stuck after reportedly failing to negotiate a curve. Bossart was cited for improper lane useage.
