OGLESBY – The city of Oglesby is planning pop-up fundraisers to help the cost of developing a downtown park. Kicking off Wednesday at 11AM, will be a luncheon to help offset the cost of upgrading Senica Square. City Clerk Stacy Mertes says the goal of the multi-phase project is to make a community area with a permanent band stage, a splash pad and an ice rink. Oglesby’s next fundraiser will be Friday, August 10th.
