GRAND RIDGE – A high speed pursuit early Sunday morning has led to over a dozen charges being filed against a Plainfield man. According to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Office they attempted a traffic stop around 5 a.m. about five miles east of Grand Ridge when the driver allegedly fled at a high rate of speed. The pursuit, which at times reportedly exceeded 100 mph and numerous traffic violations, ended with the arrest of 19-year-old Coleton Hebert. He was charged with Aggravated Fleeing, Improper Lane Usage, and many other offenses, including doing 92 in a 25 and Driving Under the Influence. He was taken to the LaSalle County Jail with bond yet to be set.
