LASALLE – A man was charged and arrested in LaSalle after a Tri County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Investigation. According to Tri-DENT, on Thursday, they and LaSalle Police and County Sheriffs arrested 36-year-old Cordell L. Irons of LaSalle, at the intersection of 5th street and Bucklin Street in LaSalle. Authorities say the arrest occurred after Irons allegedly delivered approximately three grams of purported crack cocaine to a Trident agent. According to Trident, Irons was charged with a class 1 felony. He was transported to the LaSalle County jail with bond yet to be set.
