Vote Delayed On LaSalle Cement Annex Question

LASALLE- The LaSalle City Council decided to reconvene Wednesday at 5pmafter Monday night’s meeting. After a presentation by Illinois Cement regarding the annexation and rezoning near Dimmick, the city council members then heard concerned residents give their opinion on whether or not council members should vote in favor of Illinois Cement’s proposed agreement. Council members did not come to a decision that night and will vote instead on Wednesday.
