AURORA – An Aurora man was arrested Sunday after allegedly shooting his neighbor in the leg over inappropriate comments. Police say Abelardo Ramos, 26, of Aurora confronted his Neighbor, Christian Aguilera, 23 of Rolling Meadows, after Aguilera made an inappropriate remark towards Ramos’s girlfriend. Ramos reportedly confronted Aguilera with a pistol when a fight occurred and Aguilera was shot twice in the leg. Aguilera was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening wounds while Ramos was take into custody at Kane County Jail.
