Update on the search for Streator’s next city manager

STREATOR – The city of Streator is still actively searching for their next city manager. According to Mayor Jimmie Lansford, the council is currently screening through résumés for their second batch of candidates. Lansford says he’s hoping that council can narrow down two or three candidates for on-site interviews within the next two weeks. While council is not setting a deadline in finding their next manager, Mayor Lansford does anticipate the position filled by the end of the summer.
