PERU – Peru Mayor Scott Harl announced earlier Wednesday that sand bagging has begun at the East Waste Water Treatment Plant. The National Weather Service states major flooding at 31 ft. Predicted flood stage is at 32.5 ft in the early morning tomorrow, May 2nd. Please be advised. We will have more information as it becomes available.
