$500,000 Bond for Man Arrested on Cocaine Charges

PERU – A sealed warrant for two counts of unlawful delivery of Cocaine have put a Peru man in the LaSalle County Jail.  According Peru Police Chief Doug Bernabei 39 year-old Kilman R. Johnson was arrested on July 5th and taken to the LaSalle County Jail.  Johnson is being held at the LaSalle County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
Chief Bernabei stated that further arrests are fully expected as part of this latest investigative effort by the Peru police department. “The distribution of illegal narcotics simply will not be tolerated in our community and strict and aggressive enforcement efforts will continue to be one of our greatest priorities as a City and police department.”
