CHICAGO – Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White awarded over 460,000 in grants to 29 public libraries including LaSalle’s and Oglesby’s. LaSalle Public Library was awarded $15,000 and Oglesby, $11,000 through the Project Next Generation grant. The Fiscal Year 2020 PNG grants supports mentoring programs at the libraries for middle and high school students.
