Spring Valley seeking public renovation proposals for old hotel property

SPRING VALLEY – Spring Valley is seeking proposals for renovations of an old hotel property on St. Paul Street. In April, the city purchased the property located on 228-230 E. St. Paul Street. The property in question consists of adjoining two story and three story commercial buildings, which are deemed deteriorated. The city is interested in soliciting retests for proposals from any individuals or businesses who would be interested in repairing and rehabbing these buildings. Interested parties should contact the city’s engineering department by August 20th.
