PERU – The Illinois Valley Food Pantry was able to help fill the shelves to close out summer after the “Fill the Truck” event Friday. Studstill Media, Hyvee, and Illinois Valley Auto Group all partnered up to not only gather over 3300 lbs of food, plus a sizable cash donation as well. During a dollar matching power hour alone, Injury Attorneys Scheickert, Ganassin, Krzak, and Rundio contributed an additional $500 to match incoming donations. The yearly event was broadcast live on three radio stations and held in front of the Peru Hyvee.
