STREATOR – Streator Township High School’s baseball dugouts will be rebuilt. At Tuesday night’s district board meeting, Superintendent Matt Seaton pitched the proposal to rebuild the baseball dugouts due to storm damage, rotting wood and overall poor condition. The $16,733 project wold cover roofing, cinder block work, new concrete and fencing for both dugouts. Seaton says the cost is within the district’s budget and would likely begin before winter. The board agreed to move forward with the plans and look into incorporating welding students for the girls dugout project in the future.
