PERU – Peru City Council presented four local Eagle Scouts with the Good Neighbor award for their community service work at Monday night’s meeting. Mayor Scott Harl recognized Christian Risk, Colton Sittler, Carson Vaske, and Joseph Vlastnik, as the four boys improved Splash Field, remodeled the Washington Park concession stand, and painting the food pantry. The Good Neighbor recognition brings attention to residents who have worked to make the community a better place.
