OTTAWA – A driver involved in a crash on I-80 that resulted in a fully engulfed fire was rushed to the hospital, Wednesday morning. According to the Wallace Fire Department, they were dispatched to a semi fire on I-80, west of Ottawa just before 6 a.m. Upon arrival, a two semi-tractor and one trailer were in flames, and both drivers were on the side of the road. One driver was transported by Ottawa Ambulance to a nearby hospital. The fire was extinguished within an hour.
