PERU – A woman allegedly involved in dealing cocaine around Peru, was taken into custody following the arrest of her father. According to the Peru Police Department, they conducted a lengthy investigation into the distribution of narcotics in Peru over the summer and into fall. On August 13th, authorities say they executed a narcotics related search in the 700 block of Rock Street and arrested 58-year-old Robert E. Waltz of Peru for possession of cocaine. Following the arrest, police say it was believed that 27-year-old Tiffany J. Waltz of the same address, fled the area. On Tuesday, LaSalle Police were called to the 1100 block of Lafayette Street after receiving information that Waltz was at the location. She was taken into custody immediately on multiple charges, including unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
