STREATOR – Streator residents will have the opportunity to dispose of their unneeded medication this weekend. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday a drive-thru disposal will be available at City Park located on the 200 block of North Park Street. Labels on any medication need to either be removed or personal information should be blacked out.
Medications that are flushed down the toilet or thrown away can contaminate water supply and the environment.
