PONTIAC – One more resident of Livingston County has tested positive for COVID- 19. The man in his 40s is recovering at home in isolation.
LCHD officials announced on Tuesday that they will continue to work closely with the Illinois Department of Public Health to notify any individuals who may have had exposure to this individual who tested positive for COVID-19.
As of April 21, 2020, the LCHD has received 269 COVID-19 test results. Of that, 18 COVID-19 tests have been confirmed positive, 251 tests confirmed negative, 16 of the previously reported confirmed cases have been released from isolation, and, sadly, one case has resulted in death due to complications related to COVID-19.
