IDPH Says Decrease in COVID-19 Related Hospitalizations

 
SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health announced 2,388 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours. With that, there have been 147 additional deaths. IDPH Director Doctor Ezike said that the state is currently seeing a decrease in the number of individuals in the hospital, ICU, and on ventilators because of COVID-19. She states that they’re seeing the lowest numbers since the Department began charting this.
