OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Highway Department announced that the Sandy Ford Bridge carrying Highway 5 over the Vermillion River will be closed this week from 7am to 6pm every day for inspection through Friday. The Highway Department also stated that E. 18th Road, Dayton Township will be closed for bridge repairs. The project should be completed by Monday, June 15th, weather permitting.
