OTTAWA – The body that was discovered Thursday in a creek near Sheridan has been identified. According to the LaSalle County Coroner, 61-year-old Kevin Comer, of Sheridan, was found in Somonauk Creek. Deputies were called to the scene Thursday afternoon near the 4100 block of East 2603rd Road. An autopsy was performed Friday, and authorities say more information will be released as the investigation continues.
