SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health today announced 462 new cases of COVID-19, along with 26 additional deaths. The state has now had 137, 244 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, and 6,671 deaths. This is the lowest number of confirmed daily cases since March 30th. These numbers come just after the state released guidelines for businesses reopening for Phase 4 on Friday.
