AURORA – Three individuals were taken into custody on charges related to possessing illegal fireworks in Kane County. The Kane County Sheriff’s Office say last Friday they executed search warrants on two homes in Aurora and one in Elgin searching for explosive materials. With assistance from the FBI and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Police, the Kane County Bomb Squad was able to secure nearly 1,000lbs of illegal 1.3 and 1.4 explosives.
