OTTAWA – The LaSalle County Health Department announced 8 new cases of COVID-19 in the county on Tuesday. The individuals who tested positive range in age from their 30s to their 80s. In addition, the LCHD reported that 11 new cases are now recovered, bringing the total of recovered individuals to 196, with 280 total cases in the county since the start of the pandemic. They also continue to remind residents of the importance of wearing cloth face masks, social distancing, and avoiding large gatherings.
