LASALLE – The Illinois Department of Transportation announced East Third Road under Interstate 80 in LaSalle will close overnight Thursday. IDOT says they will be removing part of the bridge that carries the westbound lane of the interstate over the road as part of an ongoing project to repair bridges in LaSalle County. Bridge work is expected to continue well into 2021.
