STREATOR – A Pontiac man is dead after a single vehicle crash in Streator on Sunday. According to Streator Police, around 12:30 AM 36-year-old David Prokopec was traveling in the 300 Block of South Bloomington Street when for unknown reasons his truck left the roadway and struck a tree. He was found deceased at the scene. Streator Police along with the Lasalle County Coroners Office are continuing the investigation.
