MENDOTA – The Mendota Drivers services facility will be closed until August 12th because an employee tested positive for Covid-19. According to Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White, the facility at 108 E. 12th Street is being cleaned and sanitized according to CDC guidelines, and the employees who work at the facility are being quarantined for 14 days. Secretary White says that all expiration dates of licenses, ID Cards, and plate stickers have been extended until November 1st so that customers need not rush into driver services facilities, but for those who do need to visit a facility, the Sterling, Princeton and LaSalle locations are the nearest alternatives.
