PERU – A Granville man is in custody after being arrested on drug charges in Peru on Wednesday. The Peru Police Department say that 25-year-old Devonte L. Williams was charged with Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance-Cocaine after an investigation into narcotics sales in the area. The Peru Police Department Special Investigations Unit say they were assisted by TRI-DENT and the LaSalle County State’s Attorney’s office. Williams was taken to the LaSalle County Jail with a bond set at $1,000,000.
