DEKALB – One resident of DeKalb County is reported to have died from complications related to COVID-19, the health department confirmed. This makes 33 deaths in the county since the start of the pandemic, along with 1,040 positive cases with 9 confirmed Wednesday. Willow Crest Nursing Pavilion, the only long-term care facility still considered to be in an outbreak status, has had 36 resident and 21 staff cases in total, with 12 resident deaths from COVID-19 complications.
