OTTAWA – A female in her 90’s is the latest and 38th COVID-19 related death in LaSalle County, the health department announced Thursday. The LCHD also reported 23 new positive COVID-19 cases, with 8 more recoveries as well. LaSalle County has seen 1,033 cases in total, along with 525 recoveries. DeKalb confirmed 6 more COVID-19 cases as well on Thursday, totalling 1,046 cases in the county since the start of the pandemic.
