PERU – LaSalle-Peru High School announced Tuesday evening that an individual has tested positive for COVID-19. Due to this confirmed case, all LPHS and Area Career Center students will participate in classes remotely beginning on Wednesday, August 26 and continue through the remainder of this week. Additional information regarding plans to return to in-person learning they say will be shared by this weekend. School officials say they have contacted everyone who may have been near the individual. It is the first confirmed case in the school since the beginning of the school year.
