PRINCETON – Bureau County announced 2 more COVID-19 related deaths on Monday, a male in his 40’s and another in his 70’s. Hector Gomez, Administrator of the Bureau, Putnam, and Marshall County Health Department reminded residents to continue to help fight the spread of COVID-19, saying “I cannot overemphasize the need to take the simple steps necessary to protect ourselves and our community.” The counties served by the health department have seen 53 new confirmed cases in the past week with 6 more cases announced Monday.
