PERU – As the start of fall approaches, Peru Alderman Aaron Buffo asked the council how they planned to approach Halloween for the children. Buffo voiced Monday evening that he didn’t want to see another event cancelled because of the coronavirus pandemic, saying that he believes there can be a safe way to do it and that he wants to develop this plan sooner rather than later. Other city officials state that the Director of Parks and Recreation has already set to work thinking of what the city will do with trick-or-treating and various upcoming parades.
