DEKALB – A DeKalb County resident in their 30’s is the 37th and most recent COVID-19 related death in the county. DeKalb County reported 23 additional positive cases on Thursday, and reminded residents of the importance of face coverings, social distancing, and hand washing to limit the spread of COVID-19. No coronavirus related deaths were reported in LaSalle County Thursday, however the health department did announce 16 new cases. 19 additional recoveries were noted as well.
