PERU – The Peru roundabout is nearly completed, with some traffic being allowed through on Thursday. Individuals driving north to Plank Road and to I-80 will be able to use the interchange, however, traffic to Peoria Street, Sunset Drive, and those coming south off of Plank Road will have to take other routes. The estimated $3.5 million dollar project took just under two years to complete.
