SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 3,113 more COVID-19 cases as well as 22 additional deaths. Of those deaths were a female in her 80’s from LaSalle County that was also reported Monday by the county health department. In total, 347,161 individuals in the state have tested positive for coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, with 9,236 deaths. As of Sunday evening, 2,096 people in the state were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19.
