Blood donations needed as flu season approaches

CHICAGO – As the United States braces for flu season, everyone who can is encouraged to donate blood if possible. The American Red Cross notes that receiving a flu shot does not affect blood donation eligibility. This Thursday you can donate in Earlville at the Lutheran Church at 407 East Street from 1 PM – 6 PM.
