STREATOR – An event to get rid of unused or expired medication is planned for Streator on Saturday. Live Well Streator is planning a drive-thru disposal at Streator City Park from 10 AM – 1 PM. You can drop off your unwanted or expired prescription and over the counter drugs, but they do ask that labels be removed from packages or personal information be blacked out. Flushing medication down the toilet contributes to pollution, so it is advised that you participate if you have medication to dispose of.
