PONTIAC – Eighty-seven more residents of Livingston County and five more inmates at the Pontiac Correctional Center have tested positive for COVID-19. The Livingston County Health Department stated on Friday that another resident of the county, a man in his 80’s, had also succumb to the disease. They report that 17 individuals have died in Livingston County of the novel coronavirus since the pandemic began, and currently 438 individuals remain counted as active infections.
