PRINCETON – A male in his 70s and another in his 80s are the most recent COVID-19 related deaths in Bureau County. This brings the total COVID-19 related deaths in Bureau, Putnam, and Marshall County to 39 with 34 of those deaths from Bureau County and 5 in Marshall County. Health department administrator Hector Gomez stated that the only way to slow the spread of coronavirus is “to follow the guidelines,” and that there have been 7 COVID-19 related deaths in Bureau County in just the past 4 days.
