MENDOTA- Families struggling to get a Thanksgiving meal on the table will be helped Friday night at the First Presbyterian Church in Mendota. Volunteers have pre-packaged some complete dinners with turkey and sides for those in the community needing assistance this holiday season. Reverend Susan Presley said they will have around 50 boxes available to be picked up at 6 PM, and that those in need can also visit their micro-pantry located on the north side of the church. Donations, she said, were always welcome and future distribution events are planned. The pickup will be drive-thru and contact free.
