STREATOR – Streator High School will be undergoing some upgrades in the near future. The high school’s Buildings and Ground Committee made the recommendation to replace kitchen flooring from tile to epoxy. Superintendent Dr. Matt Seaton says the school accrued money through their food services by going from serving 700 meals a day to 3500 meals last spring during the start of the pandemic. The money is required to be spent on food service needs and Seaton says the school has been sitting on months of reserves cash waiting to be spent. The new flooring will cost around $35,000.
