OTTAWA – COVID-19 case and death averages are dwindling weekly in LaSalle County. According to the LaSalle County Health Department and Studstill Media data, in just two weeks, 7-day Coronavirus case averages have dropped by 44% and 7-day fatality averages are down by 86%. As of Friday, 30% of LaSalle County’s population has been fully vaccinated and the illness positivity rate continues to lessen. The county has gone a week without a death report.
