STREATOR – The Streator Police Department is reporting more criminal damage by alleged BB-gun type ammo to property. According to police, a window at Wendy’s Restaurant is the latest reported damage that occurred between Tuesday and Wednesday. This is the fourth report involving BB-gun type ammo since late July. On Sunday, July 25th, two separate incidents were reported by two citizens who say they were riding their bikes when they were struck in the body by BB-gun type ammo. They reported shots coming from a vehicle. Minor injuries were reported. Sergeant Troy Dodge for the Streator Police Department previously stated that police believe the incidents are related to the same perpetrator/perpetrators.
